London: Two arrested for terror planning

Two London men were arrested as they got off a flight at Heathrow airport on suspicion of planning terrorist acts overseas, British police said Tuesday.

The Metropolitan Police said that 20-year-old Mohammed Abushamma and 20-year-old Qasim Abukar were suspected of preparing to commit acts of terrorism.

The two north London residents were charged under the Terrorism Act. They are due to appear in a London court on Wednesday.
